Every so often you find a story that is so unusual and goes against all you have been taught you want to share it with every one you know. Particularly today, when it seems that all the scientific discoveries worth knowing have already been accounted for.

Michael Wysession is a professor at the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Professor Wysession is a seismologist. He studies the Earth by studying the seismic activities associated with earthquakes. In his studies of earthquakes, he has discovered a large body of water at the core mantel boundary of the Earth (1,800 miles below sea level) under the Continent of Asia. It is estimated to be as large as the Arctic Ocean. I have discussed this with a geologist and he tells me it would be an astounding discovery.
